The article presents a profile of fraudulent medical insurance companies operating scams in response to the heightened popularity and attention to medical reform in the U.S. since 2008. Anecdotes are given describing the experiences of several patients who subscribed to insurance companies which were not legitimate providers. The article then gives advice warning the reader to carefully examine and research companies before subscribing to their programs, especially if their services seem "too good to be true." |
