An outside-inside view of exclusive practice within an inclusive mainstream school.

Abstrakt: The article discusses the author's observation of a senior management team in an inclusive school with a set curriculum and environmental initiatives sustained by new qualified teachers from higher education institution. The account provides an opportunity to reflect on the leadership and management approaches and the exclusive use of adult social and physical spaces occupied by a group of teachers. It cites a new academic plan where the team was provided with space and authority to grow and experience a less than inclusive leadership style.
