The article presents perspectives from three authors on two biblical passage: Old Testament's book of Isaiah, chapter 11 verses one to 11; and, New Testament's book of Hebrews, chapter 1, verses one to four. The first two authors reflected on the messianic significance of the passage from Isaiah and its implications for the Jews and Christians. The third author highlighted how the writer of the book of Hebrews placed Jesus Christ above the prophets of the Old Testament. |
