Abstrakt: |
This article discusses the intake of dietary sodium among adults in the U.S. from 2005 to 2006. It shows that 9.6 percent of adults met their applicable recommendation for sodium intake during the period. It reveals blood pressure increases in adults who consumed excessive dietary sodium. In addition, the article shows that a majority of dietary sodium intake comes from processed and restaurant foods. |
