The article profiles artist Rockwell Kent. His career ranges from being a painter, a writer to a political and social activitist. His paintings have been acquired by museums and discriminating collectors while he has achieved international recognition as a master of print and earned the reputation of being the most important American book illustrator during his time. It describes his personal life as passionate and unequivocal as he admitted that his life was governed by his emotions. He died on March 13, 1971. |
