| Abstrakt: |
The article presents the author's views and insights on the social policies to resolve the effects of 2008 global economic crisis in climate change, food production and fuel security in East Asia and the Pacific Islands. She emphasized the effectiveness of Economic and Social Survey of the Asia Pacific program and fiscal stimulus package to promote economic recovery and sustainable development. It is stated that the government provide 150 billion U.S. dollars financial assistance for transportation services and information and communication technology (ICT) connectivity. Moreover, the United Nations encouraged companies to use green technologies to achieve renewable energy efficiency and minimize global warming. |
