The article discusses the term "going with the flow" which refers to the experience of losing awareness of time and self, and becoming one with the process of creating. It notes that the term also refers to the artist's acceptance and utilization of the events of life. According to the author, techniques are not enough to bring life to an artwork as artists need to bring their own life to it as well. The author also discusses haw she learned to acknowledge pain, loss and anger as an artist and as a person. |
