The article reports on the issuance of the appraisal consultation document by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) in Great Britain on dronedarone, an antiarrhythmic medication for atrial fibrillation (AF). It mentions the campaign of the Atrial Fibrillation Association (AFA) for a review on the decision taken by NICE. In addition, the AFA presented the medical evidences stating that dronedarone is an effective drug for a group of symptomatic AF patients. |
