The article considers the early diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension and access to medication as significant challenges all over Latin America. It discusses some regional issues that need consideration in view of the social and medical implications of the unavailability of information about the relative frequencies of pulmonary hypertension. Conditions related to pulmonary hypertension in Latin America are described. |
