The article discusses the highlights of the annual meeting of the Dakota Chapter of the American Fisheries Society (AFS) which took place in Spearfish, South Dakota on February 22-24, 2010. A fish disease continuing education course was taught by Rick Cordes at the start of the meeting. The Chapter awarded several scholarships, one of which is the Schmulbach Scholarship that was given to Bobbi Adams from South Dakota State University in Brookings. The recipients of the Distinguished Professional Service Awards are Bob Hanten and Greg Simpson. |
