Abstrakt: The article reports on the results of the research on suspended-sediment sources of urban watershed in Anacostia River in Maryland. Researchers used sediment tracers to measure the 63 elements and two radionuclides content of the sediments collected at the watershed during stormy events. They found that 13% of the sediment residues came from Piedmont and Coastal Plain.
