Abstrakt: The article discusses the study that examines the effect of Gas-Liquid Chromatography (GLC) fingerprint to analyze six essential oils. The researchers prepared a standard fingerprint chromatogram to six essential oils which include citronella and Litsea cubeba in China, citronella in Vietnam, citronella in Sri Lanka, lemongrass in Cochin and lemongrass in Guatemala. The study reveals that it is possible to obtain reproducible fingerprint chromatograms on essential oils.
