Abstrakt: Microangiopathy is the most frequent complication of diabetes mellitus. It frequently precedes metabolic and biohumoral pathology. The diabetic foot is a particular aspect of the disease. Capillary videomicroscopy has proven to be a valuable technique for detecting early morphofunctional changes in the microcirculation in vivo. It is performed at the fingers' nailfold, at conjunctiva, and on the skin. This study aims to propose a qualitative assessment of microvascular complications in elderly patients with diabetes mellitus by toe nailfold capillary microscopy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
