| Abstrakt: | Milkfish ( Chanos chanos) aquaculture hasa long antiquity on the island of Nauru(Pacific Ocean), predating European contact.Fry were caught in the surf and transferred tobrackish water ponds in the island's interior.While most of the fry died, large numberssurvived.
