| Abstrakt: |
Results of a study of fabrication of heat-insulating binary powders from nonstabilized ZrO2 are presented. The strength of grains of monoclinic ZrO2 is enhanced due to formation of a binder of tetragonal ZrO2 after introduction of ZrOCl2 · 8H2O into the charge or firing of monoclinic ZrO2 in MgO vapor.
