Abstrakt: The results of calculating the flow and heat transfer in annular porous interlayers are presented as functions of the Rayleigh number, the geometry of the interlayer, and the anisotropy of the permeability. The existence of single-vortex and multivortex convection regimes depending on the permeability anisotropy coefficient is established and their importance for the effectiveness of the heat-insulating properties of cylindrical interlayers is shown.
