The calculated deviation from the nominal content of oiling agent on spun polycaproamide fibre with the disk method of application is ±1.3% and the value obtained in practice is ±1.5%. The relative error of measurement of the moisture and fat content on the fibre and in the oiling liquid by standard methods is ±20%. With the existing production technology and equipment used, it is preferable to monitor the content of oiling agent on the fibre applied during spinning with the instrument whose technical characteristics are reported in the article.
