Abstrakt: The formation of amorphous structures with an increasing number of atoms in a complex is simulated using an explicit form of the interatomic potential. It is shown that the structure of an amorphous material can be represented as a set of closely packed atomic complexes separated by a relatively loose layer. The results obtained make it possible to refine the concept of density fluctuations and to calculate the density of amorphous states. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
