We present measurements of the specific heat between 0.7 and 3K of porous Vycor glass filled with4 He. We have implemented a novel method for measuring the heat capacity. Our improved measurements have a resolution of 0.001% which constitutes a 100-fold increase in signal-to-noise over previous measurements, while at the same time we attain greater temperature resolution.
