Abstrakt: The article presents a case of a 60-year-old man who developed multi-organ failure after perforated duodenal ulcer surgery with which he required support for ventilation, dialysis, and inotropic. He had methaemoglobinaemia following his exposure to hydrogen peroxide used to decontaminate the water tank of the hospital. He received high-flow oxygen treatment which led to full recovery. It discusses four methaemoglobinaemia cases in dialysis patients during hydrogen peroxide exposure.
