The article presents a speech by Richard W. Valachovic, executive director of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA), delivered at the 2004 ADEA Annual Session in Seattle, Washington on March 9, 2004, in which he discussed the issue on the dental Graduate Medical Education (GME) program, the association's increased collaboration with related organizations, and the formation of the ADEA Academic Dental Careers Network designed to promote academic dentistry and faculty recruitment. |
