The article presents a study which investigates the effect of the route considered for the administration of intracerebrospinal fluid (intra-CSF) on the progression-free survival (PFS) of patients with neoplastic meningitis. It mentions the use of randomized clinical trial to compare the difference of lumbar and ventricular routes for the administration of cytarabine and methotrexate. Results show that the location of intra-CSF administration is related to short half-life drugs. |
