Abstrakt: It is shown that the main reason for the damage to the electric motor is a break in the excitation winding circuit due to fatigue fracture of its lead-out end as a result of increased vibration of the motor, which arises due to damage to the bearings at the end of the rotor shaft at the coupling end. It is found that the reason for the damage to the bearings is fatigue fracture and subsequent pitting of the surface-hardened layer of the ring races. Recommendations for avoiding similar damage are made. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
