We have carried out a comparison of the sorption capacity of different natural, chemical, and mechanical activated aluminosilicates with respect to 90Sr. It has been shown that chemical and mechanical treatment of some aluminosilicates substantially increases their sorption characteristics and they may be used for deactivation of large volumes of surface and waste radioactively contaminated waters up to DCB. It has been found that under optimal conditions of thermal water treatment of sludge, structures form with high physicomechanical properties and chemical stability with respect to various aggressive media.
