Abstrakt: The 1R (1B) chromosome substitution is identified in two introgression bread wheat lines, derived from a distant hybridization between octoploid triticale and durum wheat. The substitution is marked by the original alleles of the secaline-coding loci Sec1 and Sec3. The lines, demonstrating a rather low level of conjugation, high winter hardiness and frost-resistance, and high crop capacity in both favorable and unfavorable years, can be differentiated on the basis of the indicated traits.
