Abstrakt: | Complex formation in a Ln(III)-1,10-phenanthroline-ethyl acetate system, where Ln = La, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Yb, or Lu, is studied by spectrophotometric methods. The stability of the complexes is estimated. The changes in the thermodynamic parameters of complex formation and the bonding character in the lanthanide complexes with 1,10-phenanthroline and 2,2′-dipyridyl are ascertained and compared.
