For the wound-rotor three-phase induction motor, the main equations are presented and a structure for the mathematical model is developed that makes it possible to calculate transients in the electric motor and the electric drive taking into consideration the distributed winding, saturation, and eddy currents in the stator and rotor teeth. The model is implemented using the Matlab 6.5 software. The curves of transients of the direct-start fan-duty motor and from the soft starter are presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
