Abstrakt:	The article provides information on the social condition of African nations. It states that population in Uganda is predicted to double to 56 million by 2025. It discusses the situation in Somalia and Ethiopia including the Second Sudanese Civil War. It also explores the culture of violence in some parts of Africa. It mentions that 12 million AIDS orphans were recorded in Sub-Saharan Africa in 2006. It also presents the role and challenges of the U.S. African Command (AFRICOM).
