Investigates the phase assemblage in PBSCCO precursor superconducting powders for 2223-OPIT production using Rietveld analysis of x-ray powder diffractograms. Lattice parameters of Pb-free and Pb-containing 2212; Reduction of Pb[sup 4+] and the related increased solubility of Pb in the 2212-phase at high temperatures and low oxygen partial pressures. |
