The article discusses the findings of a phase two study regarding the treatment of six-month progression-free survival of patients for World Health Organization (WHO) grade 1 meningiomas with interferon-alpha in the U.S. It mentions several adverse reactions of the treatment which include anemia, leukopenia and fatigue. It states that interferon-alpha is effective for the treatment of recurrent meningiomas. |
