Abstrakt: The characteristics of regenerated cellulose (bamboo)-cotton MJS yarns in relation to position and location of the first nozzle have been studied. An increase both in pressure and distance of the first nozzle from the nip of front roller invariably increases tenacity, breaking extension, flexural rigidity and unevenness but decreases yarn hairiness. However, the increase in first nozzle pressure plays the dominant role in influencing yarn characteristics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
