Diagnosis; Chronic inflammatory rheumatic diseases; Revistation of the case; Conclusion that this vignette demonstrates that, although monoarthritis of the knee is most common presentation of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, other diagnoses must be borne in mind, particularly if the response to treatment is suboptimal.
