Abstrakt: |
The article reports on a cross-sectional study which determined the prevalence of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in women who exercise regularly. The study examined the prevalence of PCOS and a comparison of body mass index (BMI) in women with and without PCOS. It found PCOS in 8.8% of the women and that obese PCOS patients had more difficulty losing weight through exercise than lean patients. |
