| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study which investigates the possibility of the decrease of corrected (QT) (QTc) interval by replacing (R,S)-methadone of (R)-methadone. The study replaced (R,S)-methadone by half dose of (R)-methadone in 39 patients who are dependent in opioid and are receiving maintenance medication for 14 days. The results of the study indicate that the replacement of (R,S)-methadone by half dose (R)-methadone had resulted to the decrease of Fridericia-corrected QT (QTcF) interval. |
