The article presents a study which highlights the process of the ballistic testing of a soft-body armor for military and law enforcement applications. The study fabricated a simple experimental set to the testing, which showed that the sample with 20 plies of anti-ballistic fabrics provide Level 1 protection, while samples with 23 and 26 plies provide Level IIA protection. It found that 40 plies samples that were glued together with adhesive gray has provided Level IIIA protection. It concluded that those samples have successfully offered necessary protection at respective levels. |
