The article discusses the relationship between work and leisure. It mentions that in social terms, work is represented as painful production and leisure as pleasurable consumption, separate conditions and associations for leisure and work, and social arrangements that make little or no distinction between the two spheres. It cites that these three themes can be evidenced in the main spheres for work and leisure policies in the society. It states that work and leisure relationships are used in several policies, including in economic policies, political policies, and environmental policies. |
