Abstrakt: |
An essay is presented on the concept of ecosystem services. It states that ecosystem service consists of disease and pest mitigation. It cites the impact of human activities to disease emergence. It discusses the ecosystem disservices' framework as well as the importance of anthropogenic ecosystems. It stresses that climate change involves the social and economic function of human societies. It highlights the need for community ecologists and disease ecologists to collaborate with each other. |
