| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses a study on the isolation of methicillin-resistant staphylococci (MRS) from horses and horse personnel in Italy. The study procedure started by collecting nasal swabs from the horses. Methods performed in the study included a susceptibility test to oxacillin with standardized disk diffusion method, a methicillin resistance gene polymerase chain reaction assay, and a latex agglutination test. |
