The article discusses the process of self-recovery in individuals with schizophrenia. A grounded theory design was conducted in which 10 participants were selected from three categories of community adjustment. Semistructured interviews were completed, which were audiotaped and transcribed verbatim. The theory of six-stage process was formulated from constant comparative analysis of the study. |
