An interview with the program director of AIDS Services in Asian Communities (ASIAC), Junnie Cross, is presented. When asked how she got involved with ASIAC, she says that she met its executive director Ron Sy when ASIAC was looking for a program manager. She says that as a program director she is responsible for the basic operations of the organization. She also relates a story of a client who shared how hard it is to have HIV and to tell his family that he is gay which really touched her. |
