Abstrakt: The article focuses on a study on the use of a steel crash test dummy, outfitted with a device that measures avalanche parameters, to identify the effects of avalanche motion on the human body and allow determination of acceleration, forces, the distance traveled and depth of burial. It notes that the steel mannequin was equipped with video cameras to allow filming the victim's eyes. According to the author, the test showed that existing technology can be used to measure forces acting on avalanche victims.
