Abstrakt: The article presents a study on the effects of Adenosine A1 receptors in regulating bone resorption in mice. The study analyzes the adenosine A1 receptor-knockout mice bone mineral density (BMD) and their bone volume was determined using microfocal computed tomography (micro-CT). It suggests that adenosine A1 receptor is significant in bone turnover regulation and makes an efficient treatment target for prosthetic joint loosening and osteoporosis.
