The article presents a study which investigates parasitoids in the eggs of Proconiini sharpshooters (Cicadellidae: Cicadellinae). The study initiated a collecting trip in Mexico, which included sweeping vegetation, visual observation, and light trapping to gather Proconiini egg masses. It adds that quarantine and taxonomic works were conducted. The study determined several species of parasites in the eggs including Gonatocerus chula, Ittys, and Pseudoligosita. |
