Abstrakt: The article discusses the results of a study which determined teachers' perceptions of their own attitudes and behaviors toward curriculum planning and the relationships of these attitudes and behaviors and the locus of curriculum decision-making policy in their school districts. Findings revealed the association of teachers' self-reported behaviors and attitudes regarding the use of the formal district curriculums with the context in which decisions are made. Observation showed that teachers viewed the district as the appropriate locus of curriculum decision making attributable to a centralized development process, quality of curriculum leadership, and visibility of decision-making.
