The respect of children's identity is a serious issue which involves aspects relating to security both in industrialized countries and in underdeveloped areas. One of the most commonly used methods for identifying people is their names. Everyone has a name, but the way of assigning names and registering them is different around the world and the use of family names varies among cultures. The transcription of a name from one alphabet into the Roman alphabet, i.e., “Romanization” is a challenge that is encountered almost every day due to the great wave of immigration from North Africa, South East Asia and China. As reported by UNICEF, nowadays many children do not have a formal identity. And, in the western world, the web can be a dangerous place for young people.
