Abstrakt: |
The article discusses a study which compared the nutritional status of patients with three common causes of chronic liver diseases, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), hepatitis C virus (HCV) and hepatitis B virus (HBV). Results showed that NAFLD and HCV consumed more low-nutrient food and more high-sodium food than HBV. According to multivariate analysis, NAFLD and HCV consumed more high-fat sources of meat/protein than HBV. Meanwhile, univariate analysis revealed that obese/overweight patients consumed more high-fat sources of meat/protein. |
