Information on the 19th World Congress on Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Hamburg, Germany on September 13-17, 2009 is presented. The event, which was dedicated to ultrasound pioneer Manfred Hansmann, featured presentations on various topics including breast ultrasound, first-trimester ultrasound and fetal cardiology. Another highlight of the event was the presentation of the Ian Donald Gold Medal to obstetrician Ulrich Gembruch and Alfred Kratochwil Award to author Wesley Lee. |
