Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on the impact of Performance-Based Research Fund (PBRF) among tertiary education organisations (TEOs) as part of the Tertiary Education Strategy 2002/2007 of New Zealand. It aims to promote and honor researches of TEOs by giving funds for research activities. It notes that the acceptance of PBRF model of the Tertiary Education Commission of the country has increased economic significance of quality researches and academic status of teachers among polytechnic schools. It states that evaluations on education have low ranking while there is high ranking on philosophy, psychology and physics. Moreover, it suggests on government policy to deal with research from tertiary education and the recognition of the value of applied researches in tertiary education. |
