The article discusses the Nuit Blanche festival held in Toronto, Ontario which celebrates Toronto's official and unofficial city status. The festival examines Toronto's brand of civic, social and cultural labour that the participatory street festival presents. It embeds a cultural and economic experience with the community that could become a larger part of the event as it expands. |
