| Abstrakt: | The article presents information on a stage play about labour hero Ginger Goodwin aptly titled "Strike." The production revolved around the strike that led to the labour leader's assassination in Cumberland, England a place whose legend has crossed genres, times, cultures, classes and languages. The play was set to be workshopped at the University of Alberta in May 2009, as part of the institution's New Canadian Centre for Theatre Creation. |
